SEMINAR "Free Enterprise System in the Era of the Globalisation: Thinking and Proposal

PROGRAM

Instituto de Libre Empresa –ILE  with the sponsor of the Centro de Investigación y Estudios Legales-CITEL, announde the intensive seminar Free Enterprise System in the Era of Globalisation: Thinking and Proposal”.

 

This 4-hours-seminar, is directed to university students in areas of law, economics, political sciences, history, and philosophy , until 30 years old.

 

The main objective of the seminar is to provide an academic support, with regard to the thinking and proposal  from authors and school in favor of free enterprise, as well as Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, James Buchanan, Murray Rothbard, Israel Kirzner, and Ayn Rand. Although, it pretends enforcement leadership with values of life, freedom and private property , which does it possible has a  society of entrepreneurs prosperous, peaceful and free.

Each participant will receive material before the seminar by email, also will count with the opportunity to review other materials which it will publish in the ILE's  web (www.ileperu.net), for all participants can have large access to complementary information of the seminar. It will give certificates of participation at the end of this event.

 

The seminar will be limited to a maximun group of 25 participants, is for invitation, and interested persons will have to send their applications, attached with a resume to this emails of ILE. Selected participants will be communicated by e-mail and published in the web site of ILE.

 

Seminar will begin at 14:30 hours of the saturday of 13 of october of 2001, and its duration will be 4 hours, according with the atthached program. The seminar will develop  in the Pancho Fierro III Room at the Sonesta Lima Hotel El Olivar, located in Calle Pancho Fierro 194, San Isidro.

- Myths about Freedom.

- School and author in favor of the free enterprise and differences with the rest.

- “Think Tanks” of free enterprise system in Latinoamerican and the rest of the world.

- Perspectives of economic freedom in Peru. Lecturer: Mr.Jose L. Tapía

 

15:30-16:00    Session II: Principles and Rights of Free Enterprise System (SLE)

- The entrepreneur: concept, nature, productivity and self-steem.

- The main principle: “You Own Yourself”.

- Right to life, freedom and private propertyof entrepreneur.

- Nature of the government, its functions in the SLE. Lecturer: Daniel García-Milla

 

16:00-16:45    Session III: Moral Proposal of SLE

- Individualist moral versus colectivist moral.

- Moral Primacy of Individual Rights.

- The State and Moral.

- Contract as paradigm of the moral.

- Ethic contents of the liberty.
